The Montana kennel has expanded into a new property and is looking for Guardian homes for spring female pups. Contact Rob and Heather at Harvestimekennel.mt@gmail.com or call Rob at 406-600-5997 The guardian contract is listed under the Forms tab.
The Montana Puppy Reservation list is open and it is likely 2-4 months to reserve a pup for those just getting on the list. The WI list is open and it is likely be 2-4 months before you could reserve a pup from the WI list.
We have several litters planned throughout the winter and spring.
This small, family run kennel in Bozeman, Montana (soon to be on 12 acres) is operated by daughter-in-law, Heather Enigl. ALL of their dogs are from my kennel lines. You can see clearances, titles, descriptions and pedigrees of the dogs on my "Adult Dog and Youngsters" pages. Here is a bit about the Enigl family:
My son, Rob, grew up with puppies and the show ring. At age 7 he was doing a little conformation showing and at 11 he was competing with his dog, Sage, in the obedience ring. He learned to whelp pups at an early age since I worked swing shift and pups like to be born at night!
When he and Heather got married, Harvestimes Lucy in the Sky became their first "child". Heather got to see how much a puppy can add to your life; both in pleasure and work! It was good they got some practice in because in 2011, their family grew quickly when twins, Luke and Lydia, were born. Lucy was so good with the babies. She'd lay next to them and let them crawl all over her!
Even though Rob was paralyzed in a car accident in October 2014, and his wife needed to take over the majority of the kennel business, they are one active family! Their dogs go hiking in the mountains, overnight rafting with the family, to community festivals, wilderness camping and romping through the snow!
Once they bought their house, the back yard was immediately fenced in and a third car garage was converted into a heated kennel with 5 huge runs. The dogs get plenty of time in the house but it is safer for the kids and dogs if access to puppies is limited to the kennel where the kids can interact with the pups while being closely supervised. Luke and Lydia just love the dogs and I suspect they will be showing their puppies in 4-H when they get older!
Here is a recent note they received:"Rob & Heather,I have wanted to write for some time to let you know how very pleased we have been with our golden puppy, Ryder, whom we received from your litter born September 2nd of last year. Ryder is now 6 ½ months old. He is a beautiful boy, in perfect health, with a very friendly disposition. Also importantly to us, he has a good attention span, is mentally alert, picks things up quickly, and has a gentle way with our ailing 11 ½ year old golden, Cody. We think he has great potential to learn, and has good therapy potential as well, as his trainer Dave will attest. He is everything we had hoped for in a pup, and we truly couldn’t be happier with him. He has already brought us so much joy, and we can’t imagine life without Ryder now. Even during the ups & downs of puppy-hood!
So this is to thank you for your part in making this match happen for us, and for your hands-on care and attention given to our pup in his first eight weeks of life. We continue to put out the good word all the time about Harvestime-Bozeman MT and hope your family business continues to do well! With gratitude,Kathy & Dave LaCross"
Puppy sales are subject to 5.5% Wisconsin tax, Montana has no sales tax. Pups are $2800 in WI and $2950 in MT.
