Calli is a lovely, smart and athletic dog. At 8 months she earned her Rally Novice title with scores of 95, 98 and 99, earning her title with a 1st place over 10 other dogs, most double her age! Calli is moderate boned, excellent black pigment and a great structure. She makes her home with the Jeruzal family in Oshkosh. She is currently in training to be a Certified Therapy Dog!
Here is what they have to say: "We were so excited to be next on the list for a puppy from Harvestime. Hallie just had puppies, 2 males and 5 females, and we would be getting the last female. Unfortunately, disappointment struck when this last little pup passed away. We had been waiting a long time and were very sad that we would now be waiting again. We were coming to terms with this news when Deb reached out with information on a puppy in the breeding program she was looking to find a foster home for. The foster family where this puppy was living found they were just too busy to take on a puppy at that time and were we interested in taking her on. Deb explained the program to me and put us in touch with other foster families who could share their experiences. What she didn’t know was that we were already hooked as soon as we saw Calli’s picture! She was a light golden ball of fluff with the cutest little face. It was meant to be.
After attending Deb’s class, 16-week old Calli came home to stay with us. She made herself at home from the start and has been a terrific addition to our family. She is very curious, and such a smart pup! We were over the moon and still are. Calli is such a sweet girl. She will “find” any missing socks and hide them for you. She loves to help us do the laundry and play fetch or run in the yard. She is very patient and gentle with the kids in the neighborhood and thoroughly enjoys visiting with the elderly folks on our walks. She sits so nice and loves the attention she gets as they pet her beautiful soft fur.
Calli enjoys her playdates with our daughter’s mini golden doodle, Louisa, who is one year younger. They are two peas in a pod who can find all kinds of mischief to get into, and then look so peaceful as they nap together. Calli has been a true joy and great companion to me as I weathered some unexpected hard times. She has been through a therapy dog class and has done well in practicing her skills. She just seems to know when someone needs her around. Our experience with Harvestime has been great and Deb has been very helpful in guiding us through every step on this journey."
