Breeze is mother to Misty and Bravo.
Breeze is one of my very favorite dogs that Harvestime has produced! This little girl has it all! Beauty, brains and an incredible personality. Even as a pup, she loved snuggling. Others have described her as "love on a leash"! Breeze is 1/2 inch smaller than standard. She didn't pass her CCA because of her height but all other areas were scored high! Breeze has produced several service dogs. She is mom to our Bravo and Cookie.
Breeze had impressive showings while earning her rally title. Her first time in the ring was at 6 months, 2 weeks and the judge had some high praise for her as well as applause from the spectators! Our goal is for Breeze to be a therapy dog, which should be no problem at all! Breeze is making her home with the Prahl family in Appleton. They had fostered our Endless Journey, one of our foundation dogs! Here is what Elsa writes:
"I feel very blessed to have Breeze. I got her when she was nine months old, and she fell right into place with the family. She is exactly the companion I needed: sweet, gentle, well-behaved, smart, and playful.
She's been great with my young niece and with kids she meets when I take her out. My niece loves to play dress-up and often asks if Breeze can join us. Breeze doesn't mind at all- she just loves being around people and getting attention!
Breeze gets along very well with other dogs, no matter the size or breed. She loves a game of chase or keep-away with other dogs at the park, and has a few favorite buddies there that she'll wrestle with. She also gets along well with our cat, even when the cat tries to boss her around.
She's a quick learner, too. Deb did most of her training before I got her, but I've taught her a couple tricks myself, and I'll be doing more formal training with her soon. I hope to get Breeze certified as a therapy dog. I've been taking her to Ace Hardware, where I used to work, to practice her manners. The staff and customers adore her, and remark about how sweet, mellow, soft, and beautiful she is. She often gets hugs (and even kisses!), she's so approachable.
She's napping on her dog bed right now. The floor around it is littered with toys, but the only thing on the bed with her is a sock that she must have found earlier today. She saw me looking at her and picked it up and brought it to me. Wag-wag-wag. Dang, she is cute!"
